Inspired by the movie Soul Food , Granddad begins hosting Sunday dinners. Wuncler, noticing the food's ability to put people into a deep food coma (known as "the itis"), offers to fund a restaurant.
It is revealed that the restaurant was a front for Wuncler's real estate scheme. He used the resulting neighborhood blight to tank property values, allowing him to buy the local park for a fraction of its cost.
While the restaurant is a massive success, Huey warns that the food is destructive. Soon, the surrounding neighborhood devolves into a "wretched hive" of sluggish, addicted customers who lose their jobs and turn to crime just to afford more burgers.
The menu features lethally unhealthy items like " The Luther "—a bacon cheeseburger served on two Krispy Kreme doughnuts instead of a bun.
