As the episode loaded, a strange chill settled over the room. On screen, Spike made his iconic debut, crashing his car into the "Welcome to Sunnydale" sign. But as Elena leaned closer, the audio began to distort. Spike’s snarky British accent shifted, layering into a whisper that seemed to come from the corner of her ceiling. "You’re watching a bit late, aren't you, pet?"

A hand, pale and unnaturally cold, rested on the back of Elena’s chair. She didn't dare turn around. On the screen, the episode cut to black, replaced by a reflection of her own room. In the digital mirror, she saw herself, and standing behind her was the figure from the show, his platinum hair shimmering in the blue light. "I always preferred a live audience," the voice hissed. The flickering glow of the laptop screen was the only light in Elena’s room as the "Buffy" theme song—synonymous with the nostalgic Xrysoi era—began to play. She had finally reached Season 2, Episode 3: "School Hard." As the episode loaded, a strange chill settled over the room

  1. several years ago I started with a 22 minute guided meditation. I did the same thing you did, Sarah. I rolled out of bed, went to my couch and sometimes fell asleep during the 22 minutes but eventually I stayed awake. I decided in the beginning I would do it for 21 days to form a habit. It only took a couple weeks before I noticed I was feeling something different. Upon thinking, I realized I felt content like everything was OK no matter what. I don’t meditate every day anymore but hopefully this will inspire me. I was feeling out of sorts this morning so I meditated for eight minutes. I was a new person at the end of the meditation, and the rest of my day has been great! ❤️
