By photo ten, the perspective was from the doorway of the dog house, looking out. But the backyard was gone. Instead, the dog house looked out into Leo’s own living room.
Leo opened the text file. It contained a string of GPS coordinates and one sentence: He’s waiting for the floor to be built.
Leo froze. He looked over his shoulder. His living room was empty, bathed in the blue glow of his monitor. He looked back at the screen and clicked through the photos rapidly.
He tapped the arrow key to see the next photo. It was the same backyard, but the camera was closer. The dog house was slightly larger.
