It follows Ichiro Inuyashiki, a neglected, middle-aged office worker with terminal cancer, and Hiro Shishigami, a teenage sociopath. Both are accidentally killed by an alien explosion and rebuilt into nearly indestructible robotic bodies with godlike powers.
