The story of Incident in a Ghostland is a dark psychological thriller that centers on Pauline and her two teenage daughters, Beth and Vera, who inherit a secluded, doll-filled house from their recently deceased aunt.
On their first night in the new home, they are brutally attacked by two intruders: a large, mentally impaired man known as the "Fat Man" and a woman known as the "Candy Truck Woman". Pauline manages to fight them off and seemingly kills the intruders to save her daughters.
