Through this project, Maya met people from diverse backgrounds, each with their own story to tell. There was Emma, a kind-hearted elderly woman who had lost her husband but found solace in helping others; Jake, a young photographer who used his art to raise awareness about social issues; and the Rodriguez family, who had immigrated to the country and were rebuilding their lives.
