Retired animator Henry Stein returns to Joey Drew Studios after 30 years. After activating the massive Ink Machine, he is attacked by a monstrous version of his own creation, Ink Bendy , and falls into the studio's lower depths.

In the final confrontation, Henry reaches the Ink Demon's lair inside a giant version of the Ink Machine. By playing a film reel titled "The End," he causes the demon to dissolve.
