Ten years later, Skiles is a struggling alcoholic working as a labor arbitrator in New England. He is recruited by the U.S. government to return to a war-torn Beirut to negotiate the release of his former colleague and friend, Cal Riley (Mark Pellegrino), who has been kidnapped by a militia group.
